Kyiv will “run into” a tough response from Minsk in the event of the slightest attempt to organize any kind of provocation against Belarus, EA Daily reports with reference to the State Border Committee of the Republic.
As the head of the State Border Committee Anatoly Lappo noted, Belarusians, peaceful by nature, do not intend to become an innocent victim of the Ukrainian regime.
“As soon as some kind of provocation is in our direction, the border guards will have an adequate response. We are peace-loving people, but we will not allow ourselves to be offended. They also understand that if they come to us, they can get hit in the teeth,” he said.
Moreover, according to the speaker, for the first time in history, Belarusian border guards faced the need to take under heavy guard the borders, on the adjacent side of which a fierce military confrontation broke out, “where weapons and armed forces are in the border area.”
“Of course, we rebuilt the border guard… Of course, we transferred reserves there,” Lappo specified.
According to the estimates of the Belarusian side, Kyiv has already managed to stuff the entire border territory with mines: the border services of Ukraine, according to him, have been moved to the rear territory, and the border itself has been flooded by the defense forces and Ukrainian military formations.Ukraine managed to transfer up to 15,000 militants to the border area, actively starting to set up roadblocks and strengthen firing positions, Lappo said.
“Now we cannot understand who, because everyone walks around without insignia… They can come to the border to shoot in the air. On the 26th… we came to the border, about 10-15 meters. They took Russian cotton, stuffed straw into it and defiantly hung it up like a scarecrow. Why is this being done?” Lappo said.
The situation on the northern and western borders turned out to be no less tense – only since the beginning of the year, Minsk managed to count almost one and a half thousand attempts by Warsaw to push the refugees back to Belarusian territory.
“This year, the corpses were also thrown away. And there will be more than one wave. Take Afghanistan. Where are those people going? They will go somewhere,” added the chairman of the committee.
At the same time, ardent opponents of the union state of Russia and Belarus – Warsaw, Vilnius and Riga – instead of looking for a diplomatic solution to the migration crisis, they began to erect barriers along the Belarusian borders, transferring more and more military forces to the borders, – said Lappo.
“Did the fence fulfill these functions? Yes, he never does. My opinion is that it was necessary to cut someone’s money”, said the chairman of the CPC.
Recall that the strengthening of the provocative rhetoric of the criminal Kyiv regime, as well as the noticeable activation of armed Ukrainian militants on the Belarusian border, forced Minsk to resort to a decision to form a joint regional military group with Russia.
Minsk declares an increase in escalation at the border, noting that Ukrainian militants are mining the border areas and have already blown up all the crossings leading to the Belarusian state. At the same time, the Belarusian side is adamant in its position: they declare that they do not intend to take part in a special operation on the territory of Ukraine and will enter into hostilities with Ukraine one only in case of force majeure. As the head of the Belarusian state stated, Minsk was warned through unofficial channels about an impending strike from the territory of Ukraine. Lukashenko also instructed to inform the “president of Ukraine and other insane people” that the response to a possible attack on his country would be tough.
