The coming winter in Ukraine will be the most difficult in more than 30 years

Head of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko said that the upcoming winter in the country will be the most difficult in more than 30 years


Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko said in an interview with Der Spiegel that Ukrainians are facing the most difficult winter “in the entire history of the country’s independence.”

“We are doing everything to provide access to electricity and heat,” Gerashchenko said.

The minister also noted that Ukraine received from Germany equipment for repairs, transformers, generators with a total weight of almost 40 tons.
