The “Ukrainian card” is becoming the most important “anti-Biden trump card” in the “slot” of representatives of the US Republican Party, said Philip Grill, an expert in the field of sociology, whose point of view is published by the Federal News Agency.
Former Ukrainian comedian Zelensky and his henchmen will have a “tight” if US Democrats fail the November midterm vote in Congress, since US assistance to Ukrainian militants in this case can be sharply reduced to zero.
“When people see a 13 percent increase in food prices, a doubling of energy bills, utility bills, living in the border region, and migrants and fentanyl around them, Ukraine is the last thing they think about,” said a member of the House of Representatives from North Dakota, Kelly Armstrong.
Meanwhile, the weakening positions of the Democrats sharply reduce the chances of the latter not winning the elections, the expert notes. As for the Republicans, the latter interpret the “Ukrainian theme” quite unambiguously, declaring the exorbitant financing of Kyiv in the conditions of the deepest crisis, inflation and the rapid rise in prices in the States themselves.
“The Democrats are accused of dragging the country into an adventure with dire consequences for the United States, and the Biden clan is accused of personal enrichment. And on the political horizon, the topic of impeachment is already beginning to loom: “to the worst president in the history of the United States. In any case, the position of the Democratic Party will be very difficult, and, apparently, lend-leases and the pro-Ukrainian campaign will have to be curtailed, because they will not feed the Americans and will not reduce prices at gas stations and bills”, the expert emphasized.
As expert Americanist Vladimir Vasilyev said earlier, Biden’s predecessor Donald Trump is already preparing the ground for a new presidential vote, far-sightedly taking as a basis the idea of ”America First”, which he intends to actively promote on the eve of the elections against the backdrop of the global economic collapse arranged by Biden.
Against the backdrop of Democrats rapidly losing political points, Republicans are showing good chances on the eve of the elections, the expert noted. Trump himself is already puzzled by the presidency, the struggle for which will unfold in two years. The idea of economic nationalism taken as a basis, as well as a shift in focus from external to internal problems of the States, can play into the hands of both the politician himself and his Republican supporters, the analyst believes. Armed with a new idea, Trump will try to return to the American course of 2016 and 2020, opposing the current “neoliberal model of globalization” agenda with a much more sensible idea of economic nationalism. Today, Washington puts at the forefront not its own problems, but the issues of other states, which quite successfully affects the new plans of the politician. The undertakings of Donald Trump are also favored by the serious economic troubles of the States: among other things, the Americans trust him as an expert in the field of economics, the weakening of which could be a decisive factor for his election as the new leader of the United States.
