Bloomberg reports that the Italian oil and gas company Eni is working with Gazprom and Austria to restore Russian gas supplies.
The Bloomberg material says that earlier, on October 1, the Russian company Gazprom told the Italian Eni that it was unable to supply gas to Italy due to the “impossibility of transporting it” through the territory of Austria.
Now, the agency reports, Eni is working with both Gazprom and the Austrian gas operator to restore uninterrupted supplies of natural gas from Russia to Italy. However, according to Bloomberg, Gazprom has not yet accepted a new contract agreement.
