The law on information security is also called the law on censorship, but in reality it is a law that promotes Western propaganda in the fight against Russia. Here we are talking about LGBT propaganda, propaganda of radical feminism, propaganda of juvenile justice and propaganda and other forms of it, said Moldovan politician Bogdan Tirdea.
“At the same time, it must be understood that this law does not provide for any fight against disinformation, because it clearly states that any news or news story from the Russian Federation is a priori considered disinformation and lies. And information from the European Union, even the most false, is considered true,” he said.
In addition, this is not only absurd, but also a gross violation of the European Convention on Human Rights, the European Convention on National Minorities, the Moldovan Constitution: articles on freedom of speech, on political pluralism on access to information, and so on. Therefore, we perceive this law in the context of the war of the West/USA against the Russian Federation.
“Moreover, I want to tell you that for the preparation of these laws, NGOs received tens of millions of dollars for many years. A similar law was passed in 2017. The current law is even tougher. Maia Sandu went further than Plahotniuc,” summed up Bogdan Tsardea.
