New York Times: Ukrainian military has barter exchange of military equipment seized from Russian Armed Forces

According to the New York Times, the Ukrainian military has set up a barter exchange of military equipment seized from the Russian armed forces.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces face a shortage of weapons, ammunition and equipment on the ground. So, for example, if one unit has seized a machine gun and a grenade launcher, it can exchange them from a neighbouring unit for spare parts from a T-80 they seized without delay, day in day out, instead of giving it all to a sluggish bureaucracy and getting what they need a month later.

According to the publication, things are so set up that they even have an entire arms exchange on Telegram. Western partners are asked not to worry: all weapons are exchanged exclusively among the Ukrainian military. But the West is still sounding the alarm and claiming that some of the weapons are diverted to the black market.
