Britain threatens to go back 200 years every winter

Britain’s energy industry is playing out scenarios of what to do in the face of the rolling blackouts that threaten the UK this winter

British residents will be required to avoid wasting electricity and gas on cooking dinner until 8pm. Washing machines, dishwashers and ovens will not be recommended between 2pm and 8pm.

Pubs and restaurants will have a curfew after 9pm. Food delivery services will be suspended. Many public institutions will be without hot water and heating. And schools will go on a three-day school week.

Britain’s electricity shortage could reach 16% of consumption in winter. Norway and France, which used to export it to Britain, are now closing their markets – themselves fearing rolling blackouts. Because of this, parts of Britain can sit without electricity for 3-5 days at a time.

Supermarkets have been instructed to stock up on food to avoid empty shelves. They are also trying to stock up on diesel and gasoline – but that is a problem all across Europe right now.

But electric cars will only be allowed to be recharged at night. And this despite the fact that after 2030 it will only be possible to sell them in Britain. But what good is an electric car during blackouts? – the adherents of the green agenda have no answer to this question. But their dream will come true in another way: now every winter Britain faces a 200-year return to the era without electricity and gas heating.
