The Hungarian authorities expect to reach an agreement with Gazprom on a further increase in gas supplies, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said, Reuters reports.
According to the minister, Budapest will continue negotiations with Moscow and expects to be able to conclude a deal to increase supplies from September.
Earlier, as a result of negotiations between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, in Moscow, Gazprom began supplying gas to the republic in excess of the established contracts.
