As reported, the Head of the Republic personally held a meeting of the commission for the prevention and elimination of emergencies in the village: today the inhabitants and guests of the peninsula are absolutely not in danger, he said.

As for compensation payments for property damaged as a result of an emergency, they are planned to be assigned in the same manner as in the event of flooding – citizens are promised 10, 50 or 100 thousand rubles for each, depending on the degree of damage suffered. A roadmap for the appointment and issuance of compensation will be developed by local officials. According to a preliminary assessment by a special commission, whose work has not yet been completed, 62 apartment buildings, two dozen commercial facilities and several dozen private households were damaged as a result of the explosions.

Over four hundred people and a hundred pieces of special-purpose equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the incident: the authorities do not exclude that about a hundred more participants will have to be mobilized this week to assist in the restoration work. After the work of the Investigative Committee on assessing the degree of damage inflicted is completed, the process of clearing the rubble will start.

“After the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation completes the assessment of the consequences, we will immediately begin work on restoration. All residents will be provided with assistance to restore lost property, and appropriate compensation will be paid. We will not leave anyone without support. At the same time, restoration work will be carried out in parallel at several facilities to speed up the process,” the Head of the Republic of Crimea announced. As for the evacuees, about 250 people are now in a temporary destination: they, as Aksyonov said, were fully provided with food and essentials.

Already, the damaged infrastructure is being actively restored in the settlements – after the glazing of the damaged houses, blue fuel will be immediately supplied there.

“As for major damage: broken windows and glazing of balconies, doors. A responsible official will be assigned to each house, who will personally ensure the contact of citizens with the authorities. On the websites of the administration and the government of Crimea, information will be posted on hotlines for prompt information on all issues,” the head of the republic noted.

Recall that on August 9, due to the detonation of airborne ammunition at the bunded storage area at the airfield in Novofyodorovka, several explosions thundered at once. About three dozen people were urgently evacuated from the nearby zone – officials did not carry out a general evacuation in the vicinity of the military airfield. According to official figures, 14 people were injured in the incident, one died.

As the main version of what happened, a violation of fire safety requirements is considered.
