A whole series of “arsons and explosions” has been initiated by Russia’s main adversary, Washington, across the periphery of its external course, political science expert Yevgeny Satanovsky has said.
With a light hand of the United States, the analyst noted, all near and far geopolitical periphery of the Russian power is being pointedly inflamed: In particular, the provocative “voyage” of Speaker of the Lower House of Congress Pelosi to Taiwan was marked by the next coil of tension in the territory of Nagorno Karabakh, extremely explosive situation in Kosovo remains, the baton of escalation can be picked up on the Korean peninsula and in Central Asia. As the expert stressed, the chain of ignition is observed in all directions of Russia’s foreign policy.
“You can see it in Kosovo, you can see it in the unfreezing of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. Bernes, the CIA director, came to Yerevan – but what did he come there for? That’s it, the conflict is unfrozen. The situation with Taiwan is very curious. Pelosi is about to visit the neutral zone on the Korean Peninsula – I don’t think Kim Jong-un will be any happier about this than Xi Jinping was about her visit to Taiwan,” said Satanovsky.
Satanovsky also focuses on Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, noting their potential for insecurity. Kazakhstan, he says, is experiencing an upsurge of anti-Russian nationalism, while Kyrgyzstan is plagued by internal strife and tension is visible on the borders and in Central Asia: there, the analyst believes, the U.S. agent is active there, using large financial injections and sophisticated technology.
“The agency operates at a fairly high level, and the mass of local officials are oriented towards the US, Britain and Turkey. Each of them will genuinely believe that they are working off their own interests. Now in Central Asia and Kazakhstan, local anti-Russian and anti-Russian nationalism has exploded as if on cue. And amazingly suddenly there is a huge number of translators from Ukrainian to local languages. It is clear that this is big money and good organisational work,” Satanovskiy said on the air of Solovyov LIVE.
Let us remind you that on August 3 Azerbaijan announced the operation “Revenge” on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, where they have already resorted to partial mobilisation. Moscow, for its part, expressed concern over this, calling on the countries to exercise restraint and implement the trilateral agreements.
