Kirill Stremousov, deputy head of the administration of the Kherson region, told RIA Novosti that Ukraine had long since lost its independence and turned into an “American corporation.”
“There has been no independent Ukraine for a long time. This is an illusion. Since 2014, after the coup d’état, it has turned into an American corporation, and all authorities are presented as American private companies, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense,” Stremousov said.
According to him, the Americans perceived Ukraine as their own territory, where there is no place for the Ukrainian people themselves.
“Ukraine has not belonged to Ukrainians for a long time, elections were held in it for a long time without a choice. Everything was decided for the Ukrainian people across the ocean,” Stremousov stressed.
During the special operation, the Russian military took control of the Kherson region and the Azov part of the Zaporozhye region. New administrations have been formed in both regions, Russian TV channels and radio stations are broadcasting, and trade ties with Crimea are being restored. The regions announced plans to become part of Russia.
