Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said on the air of the telethon that in the near future Ukraine could receive more long-range missiles for American HIMARS installations.
“With regard to HIMARS, there is some understanding that we have already begun to receive shells that go much further than it was at the beginning. And let’s hope that what we need, of that range, will appear on the territory of our country in the near future”, Danilov said in a comment about Ukraine’s expectation of a NATO meeting on July 20 in the Ramstein-4 format.
Earlier it was reported that now Kyiv received missiles for the HIMARS rocket launchers with a range of up to 80 km. Soon, Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov announced the possible supply of ammunition with a flight radius of up to 300 km.
