Since February 24, the Safe Internet League has revealed about 16.6 million fake messages about the special military operation in Ukraine, as well as about Russia, said Ekaterina Mizulina, director of the league, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.
“Children come to watch completely harmless videos, and a wave of videos with violence and cruelty flies at them, fakes about a special operation, just lies about our country. It happens on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Wikipedia. This kind of content is dangerous for the child’s psyche and is fraught with consequences,” she said.
