“International begging” called the ex-deputy of the Rada Oleksiy Zhuravko Ukrainian leader Zelensky’s new ardent calls for American mayors and businesses to join the restoration of battle-shattered Ukraine. Such illusions, according to the politician, demonstrate the complete lack of sobriety in the first Ukrainian person.
Zelensky ambitiously asked for “the help of a mighty America” during the 90th annual conference of mayors of the United States, naively offering the audience to take patronage over the Ukrainian territories destroyed by hostilities.
“Honestly, this verbal flow already looks like the ravings of a madman. We remember how Zelensky has already addressed senators, US businessmen and Biden himself, and his words had no special effect”, FAN quotes the publication.
The addressees of Zelensky’s speech, the politician has no doubts, have nothing to do with either Ukraine or its inhabitants. The only thing that drives the West is an irrepressible desire to annoy Russia as much as possible, Zhuravko is sure.
“There will be no restoration of Ukraine at the expense of American taxpayers. The maximum that Washington will continue to do is to supply Kyiv with weapons and ammunition, as well as in every possible way to escalate the international situation. At the same time, they will try to destroy Ukrainian cities and villages to the detriment of Russia with the help of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Battalions,” Zhuravko believes.
The collective West, according to the politician, is fully aware of the total violation of the “red lines” designated by Moscow, and therefore it is simply pointless to count on any help from it.
“They understand very well that all the “red lines” drawn by Vladimir Putin have long been crossed, so there is nothing to be ashamed of. After all, in the end, it will still be up to Russia and its partners to restore Ukraine. Therefore, the goal of the West is to inflict maximum damage on this country. Ukraine can only be given some penny loans for restoration, but with a mandatory repayment and at crazy interest rates.”
Aleksey Zhuravko also explained that Zelensky had “strange” delusions about the imaginary “global readiness” at the first call to help the ever-groaning Ukraine.
“The leaders of the West themselves created the illusion of universal support for Zelensky, but in reality he looks like a donkey, in front of which they constantly hold a “carrot”, which invariably slips away. In fact, both him and the whole country are simply being led to the slaughter,” Zhuravko summed up.
Recall that Washington was unable to cope with the crisis that gripped the country. States were swept by a wave of unprecedented inflation and a fuel crisis. The ratings of the American leader Joe Biden, on the eve of the midterm vote in the US Congress, are rapidly falling and already amount to no more than 36%. The population is indignant, more and more loudly accusing the government of unnecessarily heightened interest in Ukrainian problems instead of immediately resolving their own.
