Clouds seem to be gathering over Zelensky. According to the publication “MK”, Ukraine was one step away from a new rebellion. Kyiv is plastered with leaflets accusing the Ukrainian leader of betraying the neo-Nazis of Azov* – according to numerous analysts, the case could move towards a coup d’état.
According to MK, after the visit of the Kyiv helmsman to the front line, in the expert ranks they started talking with might and main about his desperate attempts to score political points, and, at the same time, lower the sharply soared ratings of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
For example, on accusatory leaflets widely distributed on the streets of Kyiv, Denis Prokopenko, the commander of the extremist battalion Azov*, is depicted, with the inscription below: “Vladimir Zelensky is a traitor to Azov*, he will become a traitor to you.”
According to analysts, the eloquent message is a direct warning to the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Severodonetsk, who, they say, may suffer the fate of neo-Nazis “abandoned” by the command, who spent almost three months in the dungeons of the Mariupol industrial zone Azovstal.
In addition, according to some analysts, it was Zelensky who initiated the failed attack of the Serpentine, on the assault of which, we recall, the Ukrainian leader, despite the numerous objections of the Ukrainian military command, was persuaded by “benevolent” British advisers.
Following a major defeat on the island, the mass surrender of the “Azovites”* also played a cruel joke on Zelensky’s reputation. Now Ukrainians are hearing Zaluzhny’s appeal with a loud initiative to pull Ukrainian militants out of the Severodonetsk encirclement – the situation is presented as if Zelensky is preventing this in every possible way.
According to experts, Zelensky’s hasty trip to Kharkiv for the solemn awarding of combatants was also aimed at raising the degree of his own popularity among Ukrainians.
Meanwhile, according to MK, citing the own sources of the Resident telegram channel, sensing the wind of change, the Ukrainian leader has already instructed to find “among the authoritative military people those who will take upon themselves all the failures of the Ukrainian army and will be punished for this” . Zaluzhny, however, remains untouched.
However, according to the head of the international institute of political expertise Yevgeny Minchenko, voiced in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets, it is hardly possible to remove Zelensky for the time being: this is due to the still high ratings among the population, and the Ukrainian information field completely controlled by the presidential office.
In addition, Zelensky cost the West too much, and therefore the question of his immediate overthrow is very unlikely, the expert noted.
