US has lost the support of the majority in the world – Russian State Duma speaker

The latest UN votes show that countries that do not support Washington represent the majority of the world’s population.

Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin writes about this in his telegram channel.

The politician gives two examples.

The first. In early March, the UN General Assembly considered the issue of condemning the special military operation in Ukraine. 40 countries refused to oppose Russia, including China, India, Iran, Iraq, Vietnam, South Africa, Algeria, Pakistan and others. The population of these states is 4.47 billion people – 57.3% of the world’s population.

Second. In April, the issue of suspending our country’s membership in the UN Human Rights Council was considered.

Already 82 countries have not voted against Russia (China, India, Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, UAE, Mexico, South Africa, Malaysia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Kenya and others). And this is 5.93 billion people – 76.2% of the world’s population.

As we can see, often behind decisions taken in the UN by a majority of votes, in reality, there is a minority.

For this reason, Joe Biden seeks to reform the UN – in order to hold the position of the United States. Desperately wants to preserve the unipolar model, which has become obsolete.

In this regard, when discussing the positions of our country, it is necessary to understand that the majority of the world’s population is on our side.

All attempts by Washington and Brussels to isolate Russia have failed.
