Readers of the American magazine National Review were indignant at the news that the United States had allocated $40 billion to help Ukraine.

Some reminded the White House of the lessons of the past, while others advised including Vladimir Zelensky in tax reports.

“So, on my next year’s tax return, will I list Zelensky as a dependent?” bizn43 wrote.

“Everything is very simple. America is destined to spend enough to save the world to become bankrupt,” wrote A304.

On May 21, US leader Joe Biden signed another bill to provide Kyiv with $40 billion in aid.

On February 24, Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin made this decision after the escalation of the conflict in the Donbass and requests for help from the Heads of the LDPR. In his statement, the Russian leader stressed that the special operation is aimed at the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.
