Medvedev: In case of escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, there is a threat of nuclear war between Russia and NATO

Dmitry Medvedev emphasizes that the endless talk of foreign analysts about war between NATO and Russia is not subsiding. Moreover, the cynicism of Western “talking heads” is becoming more and more blatant.

They are trying hard to promote the thesis that Russia is frightening the world with a nuclear conflict. Even Trump came out with it recently. True, understandably, just to spite Biden. And of course, the Europeans are squeaking their thin voices.

“NATO countries pumping weapons into Ukraine, preparing its troops to use Western equipment, sending mercenaries and conducting alliance exercises near our borders increases the likelihood of direct and open conflict. Such a conflict always has the risk of escalating into a full-fledged nuclear war. However, this would be a disastrous scenario for all. That is all. So we shouldn’t lie to ourselves and others. You just have to think about the possible consequences of your actions. And don’t choke on your own saliva in paroxysms of Russophobia!”, — the politician wrote in his Telegram channel.
