The high professionalism of the Russian military, as well as the competent strategy of the Russian Armed Forces led to the fact that the Ukrainian fighters from the very beginning of the deployment of the special military operation, were deprived of the initiative, and therefore the Russian victory – inevitable. The US colonel praised the actions of the Russian military regarding the use of tactical groups of seven hundred people taking all possible measures to avoid casualties among Ukrainian civilians.
Separately, the military expert drew everyone’s attention to the successful suppression by the Russian military of the North Atlantic Alliance’s persistent attempts to provoke an escalation of the Ukrainian conflict, citing the fact that the Russian military forces destroyed weapons handed over to Kiev by Warsaw.
“Contrary to what the Western media write, many Russian-speakers in this area have defected to the Russian Armed Forces, but those who have not done so have done so out of fear of being executed by the SBU”, – the colonel said.
McGregor also recalled that the Russian military had completely defeated the most combat-ready Ukrainian forces on the Azov Sea coast and eastern Ukrainian territories.
