The continuous pumping of “independent” weapons is explained by the banal desire of the West to equip its own forces with a more modern military arsenal – Dmitry Polyansky, Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, is inclined to such conclusions.
He also recalled the good financial benefits in this matter for American corporations, noting that Ukraine, in order to establish a constructive dialogue with Russia, should have abandoned the supply of Western weapons.
“Now the West has actually revealed its face – Western countries are ready to fight to the last Ukrainian, ready to supply Ukraine with their obsolete weapons in order to re-equip their countries with more modern weapons,” Polyansky said on the air of Solovyov Live.
Recall that earlier the Head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, called for an increase in the speed of arms supplies to Ukraine, emphasizing the absence of a difference for her between “heavy and light” weapons.
