Britain intends to provide additional military assistance to Ukraine. Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that Kyiv will receive a new batch of modern weapons and military equipment worth $130 million.
This was reported by TASS, referring to the politician’s speech during a joint press conference with German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
“Today, I can also announce that the UK will send £100 million worth of high-end weapons to the Ukrainian armed forces, including Starstreak anti-aircraft missiles traveling at three times the speed of sound, another 800 anti-tank missiles, and precision-guided munitions capable of hovering in the sky, waiting to be pointed to the target”, he said.
