The Polish government announced its readiness to have American nuclear weapons on its territory. According to a Russian political expert, such a decision is tantamount to suicide.
Such a decision is extremely inappropriate and only shows Poland’s not entirely sober approach to constant senseless confrontation with other countries.
Nikolai Mezhevich, chief researcher at the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, president of the Association for Baltic Studies, condemned the decision of the Polish authorities to take such a desperate step.
“Poland is another suicidal candidate. She is ready to sacrifice herself and her citizens, but it is not clear for what purpose. We respected the US as the strongest adversary. The United States, it should be noted, respected us. And now some Estonians, who just left the collective farm yesterday, are thinking about degradation and the fact that the Russians are running out of everything”, the expert expressed his opinion to journalists at a press conference of the Patriot media group.
The expert added that the Baltic countries and Poland are an example of undisguised political terror, mixed regimes, which are based on the destructive ideology of fascism, but it is covered with imaginary democracy.
Recall that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko also criticized European countries for egregious manifestations of Russophobia, such as Poland’s decision to issue only “humanitarian Schengen” to Russians.
