More than three thousand militants remain on the territory of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, Eduard Basurin, a spokesman for the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic, said.
“We assume that about 3-3.5 thousand remain. But we still need to take into account the fact that there are also residents of Mariupol, some of them took weapons, so the number could be much higher”, – he said.
Earlier it was reported that they are trying to evacuate foreign instructors and advisers from Azovstal. It is impossible to let them out. We need to take them out by the collar and show them to the world. Let them tell what they were doing there.
Also today, Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, arrived in Donetsk. He held a meeting to investigate war crimes against civilians and the Russian military in Donbas and Ukraine and instructed him to ensure that investigators are permanently stationed in Donbas.
