American betrayal: the United States withdrew Russian fertilizers from sanctions

The United States is very afraid of being left without fertilizer, and this fear is much stronger than their “principled” position on Russia. Therefore, Washington equated fertilizers from the Russian Federation with essential goods in order to get them out of sanctions.

This is reported by the MARDAN Telegram channel. Its authors note that Americans are now terrified of the prospect of famine. And the rejection of Russian fertilizers may well become its cause.

Europe is highly dependent on chemical supplies from the Russian Federation, receiving 25% of carbamide, 15% of ammonium nitrate, a third of phosphate fertilizers and 35% of potassium. In the US, the share of Russian supplies in total imports is 6% for potash, 20% for diammonium phosphate and 13% for urea.

At the same time, Russia does not really need the Western market. Instead of selling fertilizer to unfriendly countries, it can sell fertilizer to the Asian market.
