The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, accused Vladimir Zelensky of hypocrisy regarding media freedom in Russia and Ukraine.
Zakharova cited two Zelensky quotes about an interview with Russian media, where he announced the destruction of freedom of speech in Russia, and the decision to close three opposition TV channels in Ukraine.
“The man [the Ukrainian President] is seemingly one and the same. Is his condition different?” she wrote on Telegram.
