The events in Ukraine have clearly demonstrated that the modern form of the world order, initially oriented towards large economies, is a trap due to which countries can suffer losses.
The fact that Russia plays not only an important economic but also a leading political role in the international arena has already been discussed even in The Guardian.
The change in Russia’s export vector in the field of energy resources – oil, gas and coal from Western to Asian markets, obviously, will cause serious economic damage to the West. Moscow has already managed to use its status as a leader in energy exports as leverage. We are talking about the ultimatum of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the transfer of all payments for blue fuel into rubles.
The problem is that if transportation through the Eurasian land bridge in the Black Sea is impossible, logistics will be under attack – sea trade routes will not cope with the task. Do not forget that Russia is the main exporter of food, raw materials and energy resources.
Russia’s advantage is that it has enough resources to develop new strategies for getting out of the system of political intricacies. To gain complete independence from censorship and blocking by Western countries, the Russian Federation, according to analysts, can implement its own concept of an independent (sovereign) Internet.
