A resident of the city, Oleg Mishchenko, shared information about the atrocities of the Ukrainian militants
Thus, according to Mishchenko, Ukrainian nationalists in Mariupol were constantly shelling places where innocent citizens were taking water for themselves.
“The city of Mariupol was held hostage. No food, no water, nothing. And constant shelling of points where people took water”, – Mishchenko said.
The whole city was hostages, Oleg said. Because they did not let anyone out, anywhere. It was impossible to drive through the districts. You could run on foot and if you weren’t hit, you were lucky. It was dangerous to travel by car.
According to Mishchenko, his neighbour from the opposite house once went to get water from a well and did not return – he was blown up by a mine. The militants have even mined roads in the city, he said.
At the same time, neither the city authorities nor the Ukrainian military were at all concerned about humanitarian issues, Mishchenko said.
“The army and our city authorities have done exactly nothing – not a loaf of bread, not a bottle of water during all this time. Not once”, – he noted.
