Russian Armed Forces soldiers have reported that the trucks carry more than 140 tonnes of food and water for residents of Ukrainian settlements affected by looting and actions of the National Battalions, leading to a humanitarian disaster
Earlier, Ukrainian saboteurs shelled the humanitarian convoy, destroying some of the food. Now the trucks are being escorted by armoured vehicles and helicopters.
In addition, Izvestia correspondents spoke to the fighters involved in the Russian special operation.
“Wives, mothers, fathers don’t worry about us, everyone will be fine! We’ll all be back!” – shared one of the soldiers, adding that the army’s morale is “loaded to the hundred”, – the Russian soldier said.
