Russian President Vladimir Putin during a televised address said that all Ukrainian servicemen who refuse to carry out the criminal orders of Kiev and lay down their arms will be able to leave the combat zone without hindrance.
“Do not follow its criminal orders! I urge you to lay down your weapons immediately and go home. Let me explain: all servicemen of the Ukrainian army who comply with this requirement will be able to freely leave the combat zone and return to their families”, Putin said during a televised address on the morning of February 24.
The Russian leader stressed that all responsibility for “possible bloodshed will be entirely on the conscience of the regime ruling on the territory of Ukraine.”
“As for the military sphere, modern Russia, even after the collapse of the USSR and the loss of a significant part of its nuclear potential, is today one of the most powerful nuclear powers. Moreover, it has certain advantages in a number of the latest types of weapons. In this regard, no one should have any doubt that a direct attack on Russia will lead to defeat and terrible consequences for a potential aggressor,” Putin stressed.
As News Front previously reported, Russian President Putin announced that Moscow had decided to launch a special military operation in the Donbass to protect people who “have been subjected to harassment and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.
