The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to introduce a state of emergency throughout Ukraine, except for the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Then the decision must be approved by the Verkhovna Rada. This is reported by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov.
A curfew will be enforced if needed locally.
Martial law in Ukraine, if necessary, will be introduced instantly, while there is no such decision.
The state of emergency in Ukraine is planned to be introduced for 30 days, the regime can be extended up to 60 days.
