Zelensky’s Munich speech reveals his resentment towards U.S. and European partners – expert opinion

“Zelensky’s speech at the Munich conference was riddled with resentment towards the United States and European partners, riddled with disappointment in those who once beckoned Ukraine into this “happy Western world.”

Zelensky, as president, is gradually coming to the realization that he was thrown, but promised a lot and did not implement it. This opinion was expressed in a conversation with RT by Pavel Feldman, deputy director of the Institute for Strategic Studies and Forecasts of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.

As for Zelensky’s threats to reconsider the renunciation of nuclear weapons, the expert notes that “Neither Moscow, nor London, nor Washington, who signed the Budapest Memorandum, need Ukraine armed with nuclear missiles and bombs”:

“Let me remind you that only two states have nuclear weapons in Western Europe – France and Great Britain. No one wants to include such an unpredictable, conflict-prone state as Ukraine into the nuclear club”.

No one knows how it will eventually behave: today Ukraine calls Russia the main adversary, and tomorrow Kiev will be disappointed in its Western partners and decide to take revenge, perhaps by using somehow created nuclear weapons.
