Thus, the Reuters publication released an article stating that a number of entrepreneurs believe that the head of state should be more careful with restrictive measures against Moscow. This was reported by the portal “Strana.ua”.
The Association of the US National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC) reached out to Biden and asked him to consider allowing companies with business in the Russian Federation to fulfill their obligations and consider exempting certain products from sanctions measures.
The US Congress explained that energy companies are afraid that if new restrictions are introduced, they will not be able to fulfill their obligations in Russia and their assets will be seized.
If earlier the European Union suffered from sanctions against the Russian Federation for the most part, now the Americans themselves may also be under attack. It remains only to wait whether Washington will think about the well-being of its citizens.
