Anthony Blinken, head of the US State Department, has already arrived in the Ukrainian capital. There, he has several meetings planned with the leadership of the “Square”.
It is reported by UNIAN, referring to CNN correspondent Jennifer Hansler. On her page on the social network Twitter, she published a photo of Blinken’s arrival in Kiev and his meeting at the gangway.
The American official has scheduled several meetings. He will hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. After that, he intends to talk with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba. At the same time, the goal of the two dialogues is the same – “to strengthen the commitment of the United States to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
In addition, the Secretary of State is going to meet with US Embassy staff and their families. With them, he will discuss the contingency plan. Here we are talking about the imaginary Russian invasion of Ukraine, which is so eagerly awaited in Kiev and Washington.
It is worth noting that Blinken’s diplomatic tour will not end there. Already on January 20, he will go to Berlin. There, he is scheduled to negotiate on the topic of the same “Russian aggression”, as well as a discussion of sanctions against Moscow, beloved by the States.
