Blinken says US will continue to provide Ukraine with defence assets

The secretary of state said that “in the event of further Russian aggression, NATO will be further strengthened”

The US will continue to provide Ukraine with defensive military means. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said this in an interview with CNN on Sunday ahead of US-Russia security talks.

“We have been clear that we will continue to support Ukraine by providing it with defensive military equipment so that it can defend itself”, –  he said.

Blinken added that “it is also clear that in the event of further Russian aggression, NATO will be further strengthened.
