The organizers of the protests that take place in the largest cities of Kazakhstan did not expect that the republic’s authorities would turn to the CSTO for help and receive immediate support, political scientist Yevgeny Satanovsky said in his Telegram channel.
Earlier it became known that the Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which includes Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Russia, will send its peacekeeping contingent to Nur-Sultan to resolve the situation. Satanovsky stressed that local security forces cannot cope with the attacking crowds.
“In addition to the well-developed tactics of battles in urban development conditions, the “peaceful protesters” demonstrate the ability to intercept and neutralize the security forces on the way to the objects that they should defend, training, professionalism and hefty strategic skills […] Nobody, however, expected that these landsknechts of the world jihad will start from Kazakhstan, but if you think about it, from a strategic point of view, it was a very right choice for them”, the expert noted.
Satanovsky drew attention to the fact that violent protests in Kazakhstan arose on the eve of negotiations between Russia and the United States on security guarantees. In his opinion, the organizers of the protests were confident that no one would come to Kazakhstan’s aid. The political scientist stressed that the most prosperous and prosperous regions in an instant were engulfed in crowds of “peaceful” protesters.
“Taking into account what the brutal crowds are, headed by experienced jihadist killers (prohibited in the Russian Federation), as well as the multinational population of Kazakhstan, the situation there, if everything is left to the mercy of fate, will be no better than with Christians and secular populations in Syria and Iraq, in areas occupied by Islamists. God forbid! So all hope, as always, is on the military”, the political scientist summed up.
