Finnish authorities are siding with an aggressive Alliance
Chinese analysts at Sohu suggest that Finnish President Sauli Niinisto’s decision to condemn Russia as a constant “threat” during his New Year speech was the starting point for the Finns to join the NATO bloc.
Helsinki intends to support European security with massive purchases of American armaments, which could become a serious threat to Moscow in the future.
“The Helsinki government has decided to purchase fighter-bombers that can launch nuclear strikes against Russia’s northwestern regions. The goal is obvious”, – according to Chinese experts.
The Finnish establishment intends to revisit a difficult phase in Russian-Finnish relations that dates back to November 1939. After the Finnish guarantor’s speech in Germany about the so-called “Russian threat”, Moscow finally lost its partnership and even alliance with the former duchy of the Russian Empire. Later came the war, which ended a year later, on 13 March 1940.
“Finland’s various outbursts, combined with the changing external environment, suggest that Moscow has returned to the extremely difficult situation of 1939”, – Sohu said.
Celestial experts believe that Russia will be forced to strengthen its navy in the Baltic in the near future in order to establish a tough deterrent to Western aggression from its neighbour. Avoiding a repeat of the armed conflict should be a top priority for the Kremlin.
“The geopolitical situation around Russia is rather harsh. It is necessary to strengthen the Baltic Fleet to cope with Finland’s possible accession to NATO”, – the Chinese analysts summarise.
The obvious thing in the whole story is that the NATO bloc wants to surround the “Russian aggressor” with armed formations on the territory of all its neighbours. The presence of a stronghold in Finland confirms the Alliance’s rejection of Moscow’s security demands.
Earlier, News Front revealed that NATO has a scenario for drawing Finland into the scenario, which the bloc has demonstrated on the territory of Ukraine
