The United States must abandon attempts to shift responsibility for the situation in Ukraine onto Russia. This point of view is shared by the Russian Embassy in the United States.
After the statement by the US State Department that the Russians were to blame for the conflict in Donbass, diplomats called on Washington to adequately speak out on this topic. They believe that Americans should not “shift from a sore head to a healthy one.” This is reported by Izvestia, referring to the official page of the Russian representative office in the social network Twitter. They noted that the States themselves played an important role in the escalation of tensions in the Donbass.
The diplomats stressed that the United States is creating a military foothold near the borders of Russia. Ukraine is one of the main platforms for the implementation of this idea. The war in Donbass was the result of this approach of Washington. Now he continues to try to escalate the situation, and Kiev obediently follows the instructions and does nothing to achieve peace.
The Russian Embassy drew attention to the fact that today it is very important to accept the draft security guarantees proposed by Moscow. It speaks of the need for NATO to refuse to admit the CIS countries into its ranks. Thus, the tension around Russia and in Europe will significantly decrease.
