Pentagon representatives personally assessed the needs of Ukraine in the field of air defense

A group of Pentagon representatives visited Ukraine to assess the country’s needs for air defense means.

US Defense Forces spokesman John Kirby said a team from the US Defense Force’s central headquarters had visited Ukraine to discuss the country’s air defense needs.

“A small assessment team went to Ukraine to discuss airspace protection issues with them,” Kirby said.

In addition, according to him, the group has recently returned, but the department is not yet ready to talk about the results of the trip and its impact on further assistance to Ukraine in defensive means.
