Analysts remind that Moscow was the first to develop hypersonic weapons, therefore it has its maximum potential. Placing the world’s most advanced Russian weapons dangerously close to America could force the White House to rethink its shortsighted policy.
According to Chinese observers, Russia can, by analogy with Syrian Tartus, create a naval base in Cuba in order to gain a foothold in the Atlantic Ocean.
“Cuba also had an airbase, which was used by the Soviet Union in the past. If a Russian strategic bomber Tu-160 is placed there so that it can fly to neighboring Venezuela and back, it will also frighten the Americans very much”, the article says.
This approach of the Russian side will force the United States to abandon provocations against Moscow and its allies, as well as positively affect the authority of the island state in the eyes of its aggressive neighbors.
