Ukraine will receive $300 million in military aid from the United States

The US Senate approved $300 million in military aid to Ukraine.

The majority of senators, 89 out of 99, supported the draft United States defense budget, which plans to allocate $ 300 million for military support to Ukraine in 2022. America’s total defense budget for 2022 is $778 billion.

After Senate approval, the document was sent for signature by President Joe Biden. It is noted that the allocated amount is more than $50 million than Biden originally requested.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that NATO countries are increasing the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Such actions of Western countries “do not create conditions for the implementation of the Minsk agreements” and a peaceful solution to the conflict in Donbass.
