US hostile policies prevent peace on the Korean Peninsula

Peace could be officially established on the Korean Peninsula. South and North Korea agreed to negotiate on this topic. They intend to conclude a peace agreement.

This is reported by the “Correspondent” edition, referring to the BBC. The possible long-awaited peace was announced by the head of South Korea Moon Jae Ina. He admitted that the United States was the reason for the delay in the start of the dialogue.

North Korea demands that the US end its hostile policy. Only then can negotiations between the two states of the peninsula begin.

The war in the region began in 1950. The active phase of the armed conflict lasted until 1953, but it did not officially end. An armistice was signed between the two Koreas, but they are still at war.

It is worth noting that the current president, Moon Jae In, considers the conclusion of peace to be his goal. He is in favor of officially putting an end to the conflict, which has lasted for more than 70 years. His aspiration is undoubtedly commendable, but experts note that it will be very difficult to do this.
