North Atlantic Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said that NATO will engage in dialogue with Russia and seek compromises, but not at the expense of any state’s right to choose its path
“Every sovereign state has the right to choose its own path. Ukraine’s path will be chosen only by it and its allies, Russia cannot control this process. The alliance’s relationship with Ukraine will be established with all 30 allies and it and no one else. We are ready to sit at the negotiating table with Russia but we will not compromise on the right of every nation in Europe to decide its own destiny”, – he said.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said when Ukraine will be able to join NATO and why it is impossible now.
