Lukashenko spoke about the opposition’s attempts to commit terrorist acts on the territory of Belarus

During this year, the opposition made ten attempts to commit a terrorist act on the territory of Belarus.

Belarusian leader Alyaksandr Lukashenko said this on the air of the TRT TV channel, the PolitExpert portal reports. The President made his statement against the backdrop of yet another attacks on Minsk by the European Union and the United States. They recently introduced new sanctions against Belarus.

Lukashenko noted that militant oppositionists operate under the protection and leadership of Lithuania, Poland and even Ukraine. During this year, there were ten attempts to carry out attacks. State-owned enterprises, military facilities and civilians were targeted.

It should be noted that the “good” neighbors of Belarus are not ready to do much to destabilize the situation inside the country. Local security officials need to be prepared that failed attempts will be followed by new ones that will need to be repelled.
