If the Belarusian opposition comes to power, it will bring foreign troops to Smolensk, at least for a day
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is sure that the victory of his supporters in August 2020 was necessary for the existence of the country.
“We would have made a huge mistake if we had lost last year. The country simply would not have existed. If they had come to power for one day, there would have been a NATO block at Smolensk by now”, – Lukashenko stated.
According to the Belarusian ruler, the current Constitution allows the head of state to legally introduce NATO troops into the country on the very first day of his presidency.
President Lukashenko is convinced that the concentration of power in one hands is misguided, explaining the need to redistribute power in the country.
