NATO continues to accuse Russia of an allegedly large concentration of troops near Ukraine’s borders

So, the secretary general of the alliance Jens Stoltenberg claims that tanks, artillery and drones are deployed near the borders with Ukraine.

He noted that the ministers in Riga at the meeting of the NATO foreign ministers will discuss the situation in this region.

“This is the second time this year that there has been a large and unusual concentration of Russian forces in the region. These include such heavy equipment as tanks, artillery, armored units, drones, electronic warfare systems, as well as military formations on alert. This is an unwarranted build-up of military power, it increases tensions and risks”, the secretary general said.

He also believes that “Russia must demonstrate transparency to reduce tensions.”
