Russian President’s press secretary ruled out political reasons for the delay in the launch of Nord Stream-2

Moscow sees no political reasons for the delayed certification of Nord Stream-2; Germany has every right to comply with the necessary protocols. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov. This is written by Ukraine.ru.

As it became known earlier, Germany intends to create a subsidiary company to provide assets and employees with a twelve-mile section of the pipeline passing directly on German soil on the basis of local legislation.

“In this case, there really are certain protocols, there are certain norms of European legislation in this regard, and the operator company, in fact, is ready to fulfill all the requirements of the current legislation in order to launch this important project for all as soon as possible,” says Peskov.

Europe just needs to influence the acceleration of certification of “Nord Stream-2” due to the fact that now experts predict rolling power outages in many economically developed regions. The current fuel route through Ukraine is not capable of supplying the required amount of fuel, in addition, the Ukrainian GTS causes serious damage to the environment.
