Britain decided to interfere with the construction of the already finished Nord Stream-2

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss called on European countries to unite to prevent the construction of Nord Stream-2, which was completed back in September.

“I want our friends across Europe to join us. This means being together, for example, in opposing the construction of the Nord Stream-2 pipeline,” the minister said in an article for The Sunday Telegraph, quoted by RIA Novosti.

The British politician accused Russia of trying to “undermine European security” and intending to strengthen control over some countries through gas supplies.

Nord Stream-2 stretches from the Russian coast through the Baltic Sea to Germany. The pipeline consists of two lines with a total capacity of 55 billion cubic meters. The construction of the engineering structure was completed on September 10.

Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Economy of the Federal Republic of Germany completed an analysis of the security of supplies as part of the pipeline certification procedure. The report says that the issuance of the certificate does not jeopardize the security of gas supplies to Germany and the European Union.

arlier, Sputnik radio reported that Ukrainians criticized Vladimir Zelensky’s request for new sanctions against Nord Stream 2.
