The European Union is ready to draw “conclusions” regarding the countries and airlines involved in the transport of illegal immigrants to Belarus, said the interim Foreign Minister of Germany, Heiko Maas, RIA Novosti reported.
“No one can participate with impunity in the inhuman activities of (President of Belarus Alexander) Lukashenko. We convey this message to the countries of origin of illegal migrants and transit countries, as well as to the airlines through which people are delivered to Belarus. And the message is getting through because we are ready to draw clear conclusions,” Maas said.
He added that the European Union considers assistance to people in distress as the central point in resolving the current crisis. Maas stressed that various humanitarian organizations “both in Belarus and in Poland” are ready to provide it to migrants.
We will remind, earlier, two groups of illegal migrants broke through to Poland.
