US does not need talks to return to nuclear deal – Iranian Foreign Ministry

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has said that there is no need for talks with the US authorities if the US really wants a nuclear deal, IRNA news agency reported

“If there are really serious intentions in the US to return to the nuclear deal, then all these talks are not needed at all. Tomorrow, the US president can issue a decree and announce that he is going back to the situation when Trump withdrew from the agreement”, –  Abdollahian stressed.

According to him, US President Joe Biden “made an anti-Trump gesture, but when it comes to Iran, he still has the same sanctions tool at hand and until today, Tehran has not seen any real action to lift the sanctions. “

Recall that on October 29, the U.S. Treasury Department imposed sanctions against four Iranian citizens and two companies that allegedly provided significant support to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ drone programs.
