Electricity from Belarus can begin to be imported to Ukraine in early November, writes “Economic Truth”.
According to the newspaper, preparatory work has already begun: on October 22, an official competition for access to the cross-section of power lines between Ukraine and Belarus will be held, which will be held by the national operator of power grids NEC Ukrenergo.
“Thus, as early as November 1, purchases of electricity from Belarus can be resumed,” the media reported.
It is noteworthy that the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that Kiev will connect the Ukrainian power grid to the European one, thereby strengthening “energy independence”.
